1. My Time Management System
After trying multiple apps and systems, designed a time management system to plan my day, track my time, and reflect on it at the end of the day. This system helps with time blocking, prioritization, scheduling, tracking, and reflecting on the day. You can learn more about time management and download the template from the post.
2. Being an Authoritative Parent
Authoritative parents are supportive, but not controlling. They want their kids to cooperate because they like and respect them and want kids to learn from their own experiences. It emphasizes self-direction and values maturity over obedience. Authoritative parenting is sending the message that “I am going to do everything I can to help them be successful, but I’m not going to try to force you to do things because I say so” Learn how to become an authoritative parent.
3. Meditation and Its Benefits
I have been meditating for a while without knowing much about it. I reached to out Sara and she wrote such a thoughtful response. Here is a glimpse of what she wrote. “I think for starters you just have to remember that meditation is not just about emptying your mind and being calm. Those things do happen with regular practice, but in the meantime, you’ll find your brain dredges up a lot of stuff that you may not find pleasant. That’s just part of the process. A lot of people never make it past that fact alone, because, frankly, it’s difficult.
