BEING LESS STUPID #14 - Homeschooling
Be you | How to tell a great bedtime story | Questions to ask your kids to know more about them
👋 Hello
Like many of your children, my son is going through the virtual class for his first grade. He completed two months in his first grade. Below is my reflection on the virtual class format.
The most important aspect of the school, the social life, is missing with this format. Without that, it is hard to justify virtual classes are better than homeschooling.
It is hard to make them sit and listen to the class or make them do any assignment. Maybe it worked in the in-person format where the teacher was there to discipline, but it is hard in the virtual format.
There are more assignments now and it takes away more of the children's and parent's time.
Considering all of these, we decided this is a great time to try homeschooling. We are planning to home school our son for the rest of the 1st-grade year. Do you have experience with homeschooling? I would love to hear your thoughts on homeschooling.
Children’s books are a great place for adults to learn life lessons. A few days back I was reading "Be You" by Peter H. Reynolds.
My wish for you -
no matter where your journey leads -
is for you to always…
BE YOU
